Dr.Vilsack graduated cum laude from Boston University, continuing on to the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree, graduating with honors. She received numerous accolades during her academic career, including the E.F. Wildermuth Scholarship and Pennsylvania College of Optometry Academic Awards.

Dr.Vilsack has been practicing primary eye care since her graduation in 1997. She is skilled in pediatric care, vision therapy, vision rehabilitation, as well as the treatment and management of ocular disease.
